FRIENDS OF THE FESTIVAL
The Ascona Music Festival needs your support to continue promoting new artistic and educational projects!
The Ascona Music Festival, who's first edition took place in 2010, is a chamber music festival which is held in the picturesque town of Ascona, inserted within a flourishing nature setting between the mountains and Lake Maggiore.
The Festival is organised by the non-profit organisation Associazione Harmonia.
Culture today needs considered support from people who believe in a better future.
Art is a jewel that can be part of everyone’s heritage, it is the consequence of Absolute Beauty, it is a stimulus, sustenance and support, it is a life-giving impulse for man. Helping to foster an awareness of Art in others helps to open the door to a future in which re-engendered harmony can heal the wounds inflicted by the past.The Ascona Music Festival aims to disseminate an aspect of Art in terms of a new Culture.
The support of the private businesses which have helped to call it into existence in essence embodies the kind of encouragement the nobility gave to artistic creation in the Renaissance. Times change, and nobility now is rather to be found in the spirit of those who believe in communal effort to achieve universal good.
With our Festival
It is possible to present and promote projects, special occasions, anniversaries related to an event or a series of events, enhancing features common to two seemingly different areas, but with similar shared values.
With Businesses
The lack of public resources for Culture calls the business world to take an active role. There is a strong need for a collaboration that goes beyond the simple support for an event. It is necessary to have real partners that will help to build sustainable and long-lasting projects, so that Culture can continue to spread its important values.
Our particular thanks goes to all the public bodies, private associations, companies and individuals who have supported our venture by helping to make the programmes presented a reality.
