Daniel Levy plays Beethoven: Unheard Works
The WORLD PREMIรREย of four Dances and Minuets transcribed from sketches in Beethovenโs notebooks have been included in the first of these recitals. Fresh and innovative, they demonstrate the unflagging experimentation and dedication that characterised Beethovenโs creative spirit. For the transcriptions we offer our warm thanks to Graziano Denini and the Music Research Centre lvbeethoven.it, a unique and comprehensive source for Beethovenโs music. Daniel Levy plays Beethoven: Bagatelles & Adagios
The second recital begins with a selection of beautiful but little-performed Bagatelles, some without opus numbers and some of opus 119 and opus 126. Also included are some Adagios from the Piano Sonatas, making the whole a rich fresco of Beethovenโs inventiveness. Download your concert programme
